WorAdventure
/// Integration of the graphic redesign.
As part of the platform's UI/UX overhaul, I worked on the front-end and back-end integration of new features aimed at improving the visual and interactive experience of WorkAdventure. My responsibilities included implementing camera management, iframe-based cowebsite integration, and reactive popup systems—all in close collaboration with the product designer.
/// Script upload map for users.
I was in charge of creating a script and npm package to help WorkAdventure’s partner companies upload and host their own interactive maps either on our servers, GitHub Pages, or their own infrastructure using a simple CLI command.
/// Integration of the graphic redesign.
The main idea was to modernize the platform while preserving its core functionality. Every UI element was redesigned to be cleaner, more accessible, and mobile-responsive. The project required careful alignment between design intentions and development constraints to ensure an intuitive and engaging user experience.
/// Script upload map for users.
The goal was to abstract the technical complexity of hosting maps and make the process accessible to both developers and non-technical users. The command-line tool needed to be intuitive, flexible, and reliable, offering multiple deployment options with minimal configuration
/// Integration of the graphic redesign.
I developed and integrated several new components using TypeScript, Svelte, and Tailwind CSS, maintaining consistency with the design system. I also created end-to-end tests to validate UI behaviors across various user scenarios. This testing phase helped me adopt a mindset focused on code reliability and maintainability.
/// Script upload map for users.
I developed a CLI tool in TypeScript and published it as an npm package. It included automatic validation, deployment, and configuration steps. I also set up a GitHub Actions workflow to allow users to trigger the deployment by pushing to a repository, with behavior determined by environment variables. I documented the project in English both written and video for internal teams and external partners.
/// Integration of the graphic redesign.
The previous UI lacked consistency and interactivity, and many visual elements didn’t meet modern usability standards. New users often found the platform unintuitive, which increased onboarding time and support requests.
/// Script upload map for users.
Before this tool, map deployment was a manual and complex task, especially for non-technical users. It created bottlenecks and often required intervention from developers to guide or execute the deployment process.
/// Integration of the graphic redesign.
By rebuilding key features with a user-centric approach and aligning closely with the designer, we delivered a visually cohesive and highly responsive platform. The design overhaul significantly improved navigation, interactivity, and overall satisfaction, while laying a more scalable foundation for future features.
/// Script upload map for users.
The script provided a seamless and automated deployment experience. It dramatically reduced technical barriers and allowed partners to integrate their maps in just a few minutes. The thorough documentation ensured that anyone—regardless of technical background—could use the tool independently.
